LouFerguson was dreamt up one night after watching CrossFit Regionals.  I was so inspired by the athletes and the way that they performed at such high intensity, repeatedly throughout the weekend and knew that I wanted to create a system that would help them achieve their goals.  Two years ago, LouFerguson was born and with it, my desire to be at Regionals one day, helping the very athletes that inspired me so much.

Goals should be lofty, almost dreams, but things that are difficult to achieve. I believe in pushing myself and those around me to reach for something bigger and higher than they think, to truly push themselves to the limit. I knew that working at Regionals would be a challenging goal, but I started to put in the work on a small scale, in the belief that one day I would make it.  It was not an easy road.

Throughout the past two years, I have faced so many challenges, hardship, and bumps along the way, but I also learned more than I ever could have dreamed about myself, my business, and the amazing people around me.  The best advice I can give to anyone who is striving to achieve their dreams and goals, is to surround yourself with people who truly care about you and what you want to achieve.  My support crew, from my friends, parents, neighbours, colleagues, and athletes, has kept me motivated, moving through the hardest times.  They have also been there to celebrate all of the amazing triumphs, highs, and successes with a block of chocolate and great laughs.  Without you all- and you know who you are- I would never have achieved the ultimate goal.

2015 arrived and with it, the LouFerguson RecoveryBar providing for all athlete recovery at the Pacific Regional.  We had finally made it!  The weekend was beyond what I could have ever imagined.  All of the athletes were so appreciative, thoughtful, and inspiring as always and once again they confirmed why I do what I do.  I loved being in a competitive sporting atmosphere with athletes putting themselves on the line to acheive their own goals- whether it be hitting a PB or qualifying for the Games.

I loved being able to help each athlete with whatever they needed, as this is the ultimate goal of what I do, to help you do what you do best!

Thank you to all of the sponsors and my SENSATIONAL team of staff who also put it all on the line throughout the event.  I am so thankful to be surrounded by such a great group of people.  Best of luck to every single competitior and team taking on the Games at Carson- we will be here cheering for you and supporting you the entire way!

Keep on dreaming!  xx Lou
